MAH’S anesthesiologists supervise over anaesthetic cases which are assisted by skilled nurses and state-of- the-art equipment. The field of anaesthesia changes continually with the introduction of new drugs, equipment and surgical and radiological interventions. Their care is extended to each and every corner of the hospital enabling the department to stay at the forefront of each specialty.

The members of this department are organized into subspecialty groups, each focusing on a segment of anesthesiology. It is one of largest department. Subspecialty areas are cardiovascular, general surgery, intensive care, neurosurgery, obstetrics, orthopedics, pediatrics, urology, thoracic transplantation and pain medicine.

Anaesthesia:
